Jim Garlow

Dr. Jim Garlow is heard daily on over 800 radio outlets in his one-minute commentary, “The Garlow Perspective.”  His leadership in organizing religious groups to support California Proposition 8, which banned same-sex marriage, brought national attention, including over a thousand radio, TV and print interviews, covering a wide-range of historical, theological, and political topics. Jim is now the radio spokesperson for Alliance Defending Freedom, a non-profit legal organization that advocates for the right of people to freely live out their faith. His book Cracking da Vinci’s Code went to No.17 on the New York Times Bestsellers List, and The da Vinci CodeBreaker, a dictionary with over 500 key Da Vinci Code related terms, went on to become a bestseller. His most recent work, Well-Versed, Biblical Answers to Today’s Tough Issues, is also a bestseller. Following a 42-year marriage to his late wife Carol, in 2014, he married Rosemary Schindler, grand-niece of famed Oskar Schindler. Together they have eight children and nine grandchildren.
