Rejoice in the Victories
Rejoice in the Victories 150 150

Let’s rejoice together in the victories that are happening in Vietnam. Because of the CMN training sessions, hundreds of pastors and leaders are mentoring / discipling men in following Jesus.

This is a huge new step in transforming a nation!

The Dangerous Nations broadcasts last week reached hundreds of leaders again across the nation. Now, over 2,000 pastors and leaders have taken part.

We’re in this fight every day … and so much of the time we’re in the process of working, planning, praying, meeting together – and then there is the day of a victory. And like David, we celebrate the day of victory.

2 Samuel 22 is one of the most encouraging chapters in the Bible, David wrote; “He trains my hands for battle; he strengthens my arm to draw a bronze bow. You have given me your shield of victory; your help has made me great … “You have armed me with strength for the battle; you have subdued my enemies under my feet.Rejoice!

From Uganda to Vietnam – from Peru to Indonesia the church of Jesus is moving forward.

My brother, don’t be troubled by the news or what’s happening or negative leadership … be encouraged and let’s celebrate the victories.

The final word is – Jesus wins. In Vietnam, and across the nations.

Wide Advice From a Mom
Wide Advice From a Mom 150 150

I was sorting some photos and ran across a photo of my mom and wife and our children, my Mom’s grandchildren. My heart filled with emotion. She’s been in heaven for over twenty years.

So grateful she prayed for me and never quit.

The photos Judi and I take now are with our grandchildren – and someday after we’re gone – they’ll have the same experience of looking back and fondly remembering. And, they’ve also had a grandmother (Gammi) who prays for them daily.

Not only did my mom pray for me and my sisters – she always had a timely word of advice.

Perhaps the greatest advice we read in the Bible is also from a mom.

At Jesus’ first miracle at the wedding in Cana Mary, the mother of Jesus, had asked her son to do something about helping with the shortage of wine. It’s a funny story in context but also powerfully became the launch of Jesus’ ministry on earth.

After asking Jesus to solve the shortage issue – she turned to the servants standing nearby and said, “Whatever he says to do – do it.” They filled the jars with water and the miracle of it becoming wine propelled Jesus into his earthly mission.

“Whatever he says to do – do it.” A perfect word for you and me. How Jesus said to live, what he told us to do, why we have purpose in our lives – whatever he says, do it.

Thank God for Moms.
Thank God for Moms who pray.
And thank God for Moms with great advice.

TAKE A LOOK AT THIS GREAT VIETNAMESE CMN LEADER

This Vietnamese man IS equipped with the CMN resources he needs to live a successful Christian life in a communist country and reach other men for Christ.

Please help more men like him

GIVE TODAY

Join with the brotherhood on May 3-4 (Tuesday-Wednesday), from 9-11 pm Central (10 pm -12 am  Eastern). We will broadcast straight from the CMN studios to the men and leaders of Vietnam, translated into their own language.

View it here: CMN YouTube Channel.

Would you please consider giving a generous gift today to help support this broadcast? It’s not too late to help Vietnamese men know Jesus!

Each “Dangerous Nations” broadcast costs roughly $20,000. Faithful men have given toward this Tuesday’ broadcast, but the budget is incomplete.

Every $100 helps train a leader, who will then train 20-200 men.

Every $10 matters.

Is this really happening in Vietnam?
Is this really happening in Vietnam? 150 150

For years the CMN brotherhood has banded together to sow into Vietnamese pastors and church leaders with prayer, books, resources, and online training.

As a result, a historic men’s movement is exploding in Vietnam!

Men are hungry – pastors are rising to the occasion.  And just a few days ago, we received word from church leaders that they have an immediate need for more training to fuel the fires of revival.

So, next week (May 3-4), CMN will launch a TWO-night Vietnam livestream to equip these pastors even more.

You can be a part of this historic telecast by praying for hundreds of pastors and leaders as they watch LIVE in Vietnam.

Please consider giving to this powerful church-building event.

P.S. – Your continued support of the global ministry of CMN helps reach men not only in Vietnam but also in over 100 other nations around the world. This is a powerful missions outreach to rescue men, transform families and defeat fatherlessness.

After Easter And After 70
After Easter And After 70 150 150

They didn’t know it was “Easter” as we know it now. They just knew they had lived a miracle. The Messiah was dead – and then He was alive! For over a month after His crucifixion, they talked and walked with Him … times of teaching and fellowship.

In almost every case when Jesus appeared after the resurrection there was food and fellowship involved. He made food on the shore of Galilee, He appeared to the disciples in a house and asked them if there was anything to eat, He broke bread in Emmaus, He appeared to hundreds at a feast.

He looked for those times of comradery and brotherhood around the table.

Then he left. And they prayed together for weeks. It wasn’t easy. But they stayed with it until the Holy Spirit filled their hearts and lives. Chaos still reigned in the streets, and Rome still controlled the region.

But, it was new and it was joy-filled and explosive.

Then 70AD came and Jerusalem and the temple were destroyed. Christians and Jews alike ran for their lives.

Now what? What happens to this ragged small band of believers?

The church began to meet from house to house. The temple was destroyed but the table came to life. That powerful, anointed early church for over 200 years grew exponentially from house to house. In cities and villages believers and listeners and arguers gathered around the table of the Lord – around the table of fellowship and friendship.

Brotherhood happened around the table, not in the temple.

And, the same is true today. The most important part of your men’s meeting / small group is not the information in a book – but the incarnation of Christ in a man’s heart. We love the process because the process leads to His presence. The process of a curriculum and gathering is important – it facilitates revelation.

But the process must always lead to a person – Jesus!

Make sure you have space at your table for Jesus. Make sure you have room in your day. A place at the table in your men’s meetups. If you have one hour – make sure you don’t teach right to the end of the hour. Make room for brotherhood.

Start with fellowship and close with friendship.

We will see Jesus change this chaotic world – one man at a time. We simply ask them to come and see.

From stranger to neighbor. From prodigal to son.

EASTER: “I AM RIGHT NOW!”
EASTER: “I AM RIGHT NOW!” 150 150

Over the past few months of increasing and tragic wars in Ukraine, Ethiopia, Syria, and a dozen regions, it seems as though we live in a tornado of despair and fear that is unrelenting – swirling toxic emotional clouds of despair, death, and defeat over the nations. And, over you and me.

Jesus said in John, “The thief comes only in order to steal and kill and destroy.  I came that they (people everywhere) may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance (to the fullest, letting it overflow, a better life than they ever dreamed of!).

Sometime later his best friend Lazarus died. Jesus was a six-hour walk away but had stayed apart from Lazarus for four days. When he did arrive – Martha, the sister of Lazarus, was upset. “If you had come sooner, my brother would still be alive” she exclaimed.

Jesus said to Martha, “Your brother will live – do not despair or be anxious.” Martha said, “I know at the end of days he will rise again but right now he’s dead!”.

To that plaintive and desperate and despondent cry, Jesus replied with words that echo still today for you and me;

“You don’t have to wait for the End. I am, right now, Resurrection and Life. The one who believes in me, even though he or she dies, will live.”

I love this translation in the Message that says, RIGHT NOW! This is your redeemed life, right now.

You don’t have to wait – you are free! Jesus is all about right now.

His waiting for a few days was a setup to reach thousands of people for Christ. When Lazarus was resurrected, hundreds of people came to his house in Bethany to hear his story. So many that the priests wanted to kill Jesus and Lazarus also.

Jesus defeated death, defeated satan and forever destroyed the works of the enemy – in your life. Personally. In your life Jesus has defeated despair, anger, anxiety, fear, temptation, disappointment, discouragement, selfishness and jealousy.

If toys and treasures could make us happy, of all people Americans would be deliriously happy, but we are not…1/3 of all Americans wake up depressed every day. We do happy things and we have happy times but we are not happy people. We are lonely in a crowded world.

In Matthew, Jesus said, “Are you tired? Worn out? Burned out on religion? Come to me. Get away with me and you’ll recover your life. I’ll show you how to take a real rest.” True peace is not the result of war, police action or negotiations – true peace is the result of the cross of Jesus Christ. True peace is found in His presence and life fully engaged in our lives.

Easter is redemption, new life, peace with God and peace in this world – RIGHT NOW.

Jesus is alive, he has risen and he is victorious. And, RIGHT NOW, we live in that overcoming, triumphant power.

Easter is our promise that we may have and enjoy life – no matter the issues of this world. We are alive in Him. Whole in Him, and our joy is in Him. RIGHT NOW.

Easter blessings from Bishop Bronner, Robert Barriger, Eddy Leo, Joann Webster, Doug Stringer and all the CMN team.

Hope is alive, Hope has a name, Hope’s name is Jesus!
Grace and peace to you and your loved ones.

Over 34 wars and armed conflicts are taking place right now around the world.

Ten of those conflicts have had more than 10,000 deaths. Most of those conflicts have made it dangerous to be a Christian – many have destroyed the churches and killed hundreds of pastors.

At the forefront right now is the war in Ukraine.

This is precisely why the Lord led us to launch the Dangerous Nations outreach. To translate needed materials into key languages – to lead men to Jesus. To equip leaders to disciple men. To save families and bring hope to the next generation. To reach the hearts of men for Christ.

We have two books in Russian and we are giving them away free.

40% of the people in Ukraine speak Russian, and most of Russia does.

Below are the links to Never Quit and Strong Men in Tough Times in Russian!

Both are FREE – just click on the images or links below to download instantly.

Men in Russia need these tools and the men in Ukraine.

Every Russian-speaking man in the world needs this powerful truth.

You may know someone who has relatives in those nations or a friend in government … let’s get them to people that will be blessed.

Do you have the courage to stand?
Do you have the courage to stand? 150 150

The remarkable courage-under-fire of President Volodymyr Zelenskyy of Ukraine has inspired all of us. His courage is not just about himself – but for those whom he is responsible for.

Courage inspires others.

When you stand against unrighteousness at your job, in your community, or with your family – you inspire others. Courage is the result of embracing your destiny as a man of God. We all must be men of courage.

Proverbs 28:1 says, “The wicked run away when no one is chasing them, but the godly are as bold as lions.”

The Bible is a book of moral courage, moral fortitude, and moral strength.

While the world obsessively leans into negativity and fear – we as Christian men are fully embracing courage and the faith-filled nature of Jesus Christ.

Ephesians 6:13 says, “Therefore, put on every piece of God’s armor so you will be able to resist the enemy in the time of evil. Then after the battle, you will still be standing firm.”

Then, verse 18 says, “Pray in the Spirit at all times and on every occasion. Stay alert and be persistent in your prayers for all believers everywhere.”

This is where you and I must live – in the center of courage – the life of a man fully committed to trust in God.

Courage is built. Join me on YouTube for the series on Courage – you can find it HERE

We continue to pray for Ukraine. For every country that is part of our Dangerous Nations outreach. For our brothers and their families in the Russian Federation – for men everywhere.

We believe that not one man is beyond the reach of God’s grace.

We are covered in the armor of God – and after the battle…we will still be standing strong.

Jesus, War, and Peace
Jesus, War, and Peace 150 150

Jesus had a word about war – and peace.

Peace is always the result of strength – yet war seems always on the horizon. We live in a violent, chaotic world. One in which evil men are ever-present. We can try to ignore the issues as ‘over there’ or ‘in that urban city’ or somewhere ‘not where we’re at’ – but that won’t make them go away.

What wins – is our faith.

And the determination to hold on to faith in the face of all hell … and to walk into that hell with courage.

The world is full of bad-hearted men against whom we must stand strong. The world has always had war and ethnic hatreds. Evil men who dream of dictatorial conquests, angry young men who find meaning by joining extremist movements, bullies who find satisfaction in violence against innocent people.

But the man of God is a man of hope – filled with courage, perseverance, and faith.

Why are we filled with hope? Because of Jesus. That’s it – Jesus.

So blindingly simple as to be causally overlooked in the face of chaos – Jesus is the prince of peace, the center of all creation, the Lion of Judah and his kingdom is daily expanding across the globe. He is the beginning and the finish. Alpha/Omega.

Jesus said two things that have focused my heart:

“Jesus answered them … “The Father is with me. I’ve told you all this so that trusting me, you will be unshakable and assured, deeply at peace. In this godless world, you will continue to experience difficulties. But take heart [take courage]! I’ve conquered the world.” John 16:31-33

“I am leaving you with a gift—peace of mind and heart. And the peace I give is a gift the world cannot give. So don’t be troubled or afraid.” John 14:27

Two words to help us find our peace.

And, our resilience.

Stand strong. Beat the bullies of anxiety, depression, and fear.

Take courage.
