We find our identity in him, and we find courage. Courage is the result of trusting Jesus – and that builds faith.

Courage is trusting God to be God. That he will keep his word. That is faith – and that makes a man brave. Brave is the currency of an overcoming life.
In Mark 6 the disciples were terrified to see Jesus walking on water. Jesus said, “Take courage! I am here!” (Mark 6:50)
And there it is – that is the key.
Jesus is here.
Jesus conquered the grave, fear, negativity, and doubt. When we live in that victory – we defeat fear.
NELSON MANDELA said, “I learned that courage was not the absence of fear, but the triumph over it. The brave man is not he who does not feel afraid, but he who conquers that fear.”
